Mount the cooler using the bracket - you don't use any other original hardware from the cooler. Reinstall the plastic brackets that came with your motherboard (this is what got me stuck for a long time, it wasn't mentioned anywhere - luckily I am a hoarder with computer parts and kept these) - they're the plastic brackets above and below the socket in this picĬlean up any old paste on your CPU and Hyper 212 and reapply paste on your cpu At the same time, others are necessary for both Intel and AMD setups. Some components are only required to install Hyper 212 over an Intel motherboard.
